After dinner, we were ushered into the theater for the Country Music USA show. It highlights the history of country music from the beginning until now. Seth was bored and was sure he was just so tired, until the girls came out on stage in glitzy outfits. He was all attention then! After the show, we went downstairs and Seth didn't know it, but you were able to meet and greet the entertainers. The girls graciously took a picture with Seth and he was feeling like "the man".

General Jackson and The Girls
Tonight we went on the General Jackson Showboat dinner cruise up and down the Cumberland River. Dinner was buffet-style on the outer deck. There were nine of us -- the kids and I, Brenda and Courtney, Shirley and Haley from Washington, and Rob and Cindy from near Nashville. We had dinner and drinks on the Texas deck (whatever that means) and we had the entire deck to ourselves. The weather was still a sticky 90 something with a thunderstorm threatening which never did materialize. It did sprinkle slightly at one point but I am getting used to being a perpetual puddle so rain....sweat.....I can't really tell the difference anymore.

He acted at the time like he was sooooo embarrased, but we weren't off the boat ten minutes when he asked if I could put this picture as his background on his computer. Ha!
